Mind and body synergy

The mind and body interact in powerful ways that affect a person’s health and quality of life. Most people on the basis of intuition or personal experience believe that emotional stress can cause or alter the course of physical diseases. For example, emotions can affect certain bodily functions, such as heart rate, blood pressure, sweating, sleep patterns, digestive juices and bowel functioning.

The intimate mind-body relationship is a two way street. Not only can psychological and emotional factors contribute to physical disorders, but also physical diseases can affect a person’s thinking or mood.

Meridian Mind is focused on promoting and cultivating mind and body experiences and promotes peak synergy between the factors contributing to emotional and physical wellbeing.
